Do you like this story?
Staying home with your young children offers simple, heart touching pleasures as well as profound challenges. As many things are going in the lives of stay home moms, time management can be a big issue for them. Time management can play a vital role in success of those moms who truly want the best for their family and themselves.
Most stay home moms always feel rushed through the day, feeling extremely busy and are still unable to complete tasks properly. They are unable to focus on task being carried out and face distractions because there are a lot of things that needed to be done. Stay home mom go through affliction and hard knocks during their day and they have to deal with it. They are always pressed for free time. They really need to address their time management issues and go through their day methodically. They need to plan and organize their schedule, so that their time is used productively.
Plan and prepare for your day the day before is going to help a lot. Go through the tasks you need to do, the places you need to go if any, and what are you going to have for meals tomorrow. Make to do list for yourself. Get done with all the preparation of kids for their tomorrow’s school. Make sure their bags are packed and decide for their school time lunch. All this will help you in morning and will save you from getting overwhelmed with tasks.
Whenever you get a tiny bit of free time, think about the things you have been putting off in your life. These could be anything that you have on your mind for some time, like sorting your DVD rack or getting your photo album together. Make a list of such things and paste it somewhere in kitchen and strike off a thing when you are done with it, also keep adding to that list as you remember something else. These small things often drain energy so making a list will help you a lot with getting them done.
Keep a notepad with you handy. It can be used to write whatever you remember, and have to do later or even your thoughts. It doesn’t have to be detailed if it’s your thoughts, just a snippet is enough. A notepad can help you prioritize your tasks. If you have a habit of forgetting or getting lost in thing then you can write the important things that you need to talk about to your partner.
A stay home mom needs to take care of herself as much as she thinks her home and family needs. Time management will organize your day and save you enough time for yourself that you can spend relaxing in the way you wish to.
