Recognize The Internet Scams

The internet world is a virtual reality and resembles the outer reality when it comes to scams, frauds, and lays. There are plenty of internet scams and the list is long and everyday is becoming longer and longer. The Internet is one of the best tools that exist on the Earth and you can find many good jobs and offers on a respectable websites. Sadly there are scammers and fake websites that only want to take your money, use your data and even enter in to your computer and steal your email address and password. Here are some advices how to protect your self from internet scams.

Think twice before you share your personal data like date of birth, bank details, telephone number, address etc. Ask your self why this person or a website needs your details? If it’s a survey website ask yourself if you want to participate in this survey or just to be on the safe side, leave the good will to help someone else. Don’t reply to emails with an offer that is too good to be true. Like someone wants to give you a million dollars only if you help him to transfer the money to your bank account. Do not accept jobs like doing phone calls or some work from home that requires from you to pay a fee before you even start doing the job. There are of course honest websites which offer good jobs and are not internet scams but being careful will only keep you safe.

These are just 3 of many internet scams that are happening on the web. Almost everyone that I know got an email with a very sad story, explaining that she is a member of a Royal family and the whole family was killed and massacred. Now she has to run away from the country but she can not and that’s why she needs your help. This is the famous Nigerian scam. It’s been around for quite a long time now, and unfortunately people still fall for this. Do not reply to this massage, delete and block them from your email list. Fake lottery win is another popular internet scam. This one states that you’ve just won a lottery of one million dollars or any other currency only by random choice of your email address. Do not believe these criminals by any chance, no matter how realistic and persuasive they look to you. All they want is your bank account number and all the money that you have.

The Rogue Telephone Dialler is another very filthy internet scam. This is software that downloads to your computer and then criminals can use it to make expensive international phone calls from your land line. They cannot be traced but you will end up paying enormous telephone bills.
