Here is a look at why you should not buy Aakash Tablet PC, touted as the cheapest tablet PC in the world..has it fulfilled its objective ?
Aakash Tablet PC has created a sensation in the Indian technology market creating a new era of cheap tablet PC. The number of units sold have crossed all the estimated given by the experts and they government so had to close the bookings for Aakash. It has been reported that the initial 1 lakh units that were scheduled to be booked had already been booked. And almost 30,000 have been manufactured and delivered. But then came the furor about the problems faced by this cheap tablet PC. As every one say what is cheap will be low on quality. Indeed it was low on quality and did not deserve the hype it generated.It was an okay tablet for the students in the country but not for any top modern day youth who dawdles with ipads and other technological stuff in the Internet. They needed everything fast and Aakash was an utter flop in that. Aakash could not respond to the needs of many of the basic inter net users too.
Soon after the deliveries started complaints started pouring in.
It was then the government decided to revamp the Aakash tablet. It was decided then that the remaining 70,000 Aakash tablets which will be issued by the government will be the upgraded version Ubislate 7 or Aakash 2 which is available for online booking now.
You need to understand the basic specifications of Ubislate 7. The Ubislate 7 is being sold at around 3000/- Indian rupees. The delivery will be made to home and you need to pay the money only when you get the product from the delivery man.
