How BBC TOP GEAR insulted India ? Warning to foreigners

BBC TOP GEAR insults India. INDIA under attack.
BBC TOP GEAR , one of the most high profile shows all over the world had its recent sessions filmed in various locations of India. True to the nature of the program, TOP GEAR stated playing the big daddy and every other participants were down casted. But well it happens and that is why the show BBC TOP GEAR is famous for. But right now they would have been thinking that coming to India was a mistake on their part.
Indian high commissioner asked the apologies from the BBC team for racially degrading the country. High commissioner claims that the show passed a lot of remarks that have been found to be offensive.
In the letter the high commissioner claims - “The programme was replete with cheap jibes, tasteless humor and lacked cultural sensitivity. This is not clearly what we expect of the BBC. I write this to convey our deep disappointment over the documentary for its content and the tone of the presentation”.
What is offensive? Was slum dog millionaire offensive? No says the government. Why ? We ask.Because it brought us the Oscar medals.
In fact i watched the show the show and also the Oscar movie slum dog millionaire and found that slum dog is much more offensive than TOP GEAR.Then where lies the problem. The problem has always been right with in us. We never accept any remarks from foreigners. If the same remarks were passed by an Indian show it would become healthy criticisms aimed at the welfare of the country.
So any foreigner coming to India would do well to keep their mouths shut. or you never know you might soon be asking apologies for endless reasons.Now that BBC has got their lesson they would think twice before planning India in any of their schedules.
That's it.We have achieved it. We have warned another foreigner.

That is an interesting point of view and a naive one too. If you travel a bit around the world might not take much observation to realize that no one takes criticisms(shit in this specific case) coming from foreigners, i can not imagine such a country, also it does not makes sense (specially coming from a brit and i can back that). You can not come to US and belittle their food or go to china and make fun of their language its not welcomed. Top Gear use to one of my favourite shows and its not the first time jeremy made fun of india but everything has a limit. I live in US and been around a handfull of places so in my opinion this was a cheap shot and BBC should apologise. Its funny they can sell their "quitisentially british" Jaguar to indians for money but still be proud of their dying hobo race which refuses to upgrade(o thats just a US description of Brits)
