Second Show is a film that was released with not much expectations. Of course the launch of Dulqar Salman was highly awaited ,but we all knew that even if this film gets dumped he will definitely get another chance to prove his worth. Hence every one awaited Dulqar and not Second Show.But it has to be mentioned that the film gave Dulqar Salman the perfect launch as Lalu.


The film was a refreshing change overall.
The new cast introduced a feel of freshness into the film and also the acting of almost everyone seemed professional enough for a main stream film.Apart from Salman another pus in acting is the friend character played by sunny.

Story Line
The story begins with the hero coming out of jail and on the way back he  narrates his story. The story is all about lalu and his friends in his Kurudimukku village.The film has Baburaj in a short role which surprised everyone. Specially the scene where he kills the man who killed his brother is astonishing.


Lalu and his friends in Kurudi muku are involved in various small crimes like sand trafficking for money. Later when police captures the Lorry, they looks for brighter prospects and goes into some proper business with Baburaj and Sudheesh Berry
Sudheesh Berry is a big plus for this film. He is a noted Hindi television actor  who looked apt and acted convincingly in the role.You can be assured that you can See him more in Malayalam film as the top villain in the coming months.

First half
The main Strong point of the film is the superb first half which makes it too hard to believe that the film director is a debutant.The screenplay is good enough to drive the audiences to the theatres.Specially the punch dialogue on which the first half of the film ends is quite convincing.


Second half
The film moves into the story and love comes to the fore.Though the heroine do not have anything worth while to do in this films she looks  good in the role with her good looks. Only point that can go negative is the fact that the love combinations in this film was a bit dragging when compared to the other parts.


Verdict
Must watch film if you are an ardent Malayalam film goer.
